Would a trek 3700 be okay for this kind of usage?

Would a trek 3700 be okay for this kind of usage?
I'm looking into get a used 2004 Trek 3700. It is a hard tail. I don't plan on taking it off jumps that are like super big or anything. But do you think this bike would be okay for like backyard trails, and jumping off those 1 foot tall ramps you can get at walmart? Would it be okay for that kind of use?

I had an '05 3700 which I liked very much and a good frame to upgrade components on over time. The fork was pretty lame, but I don't see any reason it wouldn't work for the riding you've described.

If you're talking about that 2004 Trek 3700 you were looking at the only weak point I can see is that I think it has a freewheel in back. Could be prone to bending and snapping axles.
However I've had my similar Trek 4000 with freewheel into a few 2' airs and haven't hosed my back axle yet, knock on wood.
