Specialized SX Frame advice

I mountain bike quite a bit and my bike does not have near the suspension it should have! Right now I have a GT, but am looking to upgrade. I'm looking at the specialized frame.

Anybody have any experience with this frame? Is it worth the price? Pros, cons? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

There are a few people here with hands-on experience with SX frames. Hopefully they will see this and share their wisdom. I'll amend your title so it might catch their eye.

Just go to a bike shop and test some frames. The important thing is that you're able to stand with the frame under you with your feet still able to be flat on the floor.

You know what that white tapered head tube reminds me of?

The one you posted is the four-cross model, with 4 inches of rear travel. Are you sure you dont want the Trail model with 170mm rear travel?

a2psykl was the only one I recall here who had an SX - an 04 model. Anyway, here is a two part review I found:

Thanks crypt, I'll check these out. This wasn't the model I was buying. I just posted a pic of a specialized frame I saw online. I would like a white frame though. I don't have any one specific model picked out yet. I was just trying to get some opinions on the specialized frame and what others who owned or have owned thought of their models. Thanks guys!

I and never both have the SX Trail as victim described. I would probably have an SX too if I hadn't had the opportunity to get the rampant.

superstar103, specialized makes good bikes but you've got a lot of homework to do.
