Old Bridgestone
So I was poking around in my parent's garage the otherday and came across an old bike that my dad used to ride to work (when it was closer). It's a BridgeStone MB-6. I know that this was their lowest end MB, but I noticed it was still made w/ Tange tubing. I was wondering if this frame would be worth fixing up, perhaps turning into a nice little SS. The components are mostly crap, but what was the difference in quality of the frames in the Bridgestone MB-X series?

Not sure about the MB-6. I have an MB-0, and apparently that frame is the same one used in the MB-1. But regardless, you found yourself a good frame that you can build up into a very admirable town bike. Here's mine:

Double butted Tange tubing was used for the MB-6, whereas in the MB-1, B'stone used Ritchey Logic. I think you've got a good quality bike worth putting back on the trails or the road. Possibly a good approach could be something like this MB-1 (sorry, I borrowed the pic from anothe forum):
