halfrauds bikes
hey guys im sure we have all heard things about halfrauds but i noticed recently they have been selling voodoo and boardman bikes which are great brands but avalible only to halfrauds what the hell are they companies thinking? anyway ive been looking to get my own xc mountain bike and the voodoo hoodoo is exactly what im after but obviously since only halfrauds sell them you can understand why id be having second thoughts ive heard it should be fine provided i get a proper bike shop to build it but just want some opinions would you buy it? if not why not? is there anything else i could get for £500 that would be better?

Sorry mate, i haven't heard anything bad about Halfords. Care to elaborate? That said, i would always prefer to use a smaller LBS type shop where possible.

they are well known for being bull$h1t3 service providers most of them dont even know how to put a bike together you would have more of a chance of it being put together right by a 3 year old slight exaggeration but you get the point i know a guy thats curently in the process of taking halfords to court there service was that bad im not to impressed with halfords either i asked them to put mine together for me when i came to collect it was not done ended up putting the effing thing together myself it was actully a good bike its only problem was the brakes squeaked like h3ll which i fixed by oiling them what a dope it was only a case of adjusting 1 screw anyway that pretty much sums it up
