Here are some BIG closeups of the two spots on the frame that are less than perfect. Again, I think these are purely cosmetic but many people have asked my opinions on the frame so I'll post these shots.

Overall, I'm VERY happy with the frame. For $99 + $50 shipping, it's much, much nicer than I expected. The builder who put the bike together for me said the frame was straight and true. The bottom bracket needed a bit of facing (as most do, I understand) and the headtube was perfect.

The two "flaws" I found were 1) a small gap between the welds of the downtube gusset and the head tube and 2) the bottle cage bosses don't lie flush with the teardrop shaped top tube.

Again, for a $150 frame, I'm nit picking, but I know a lot of people have expressed interest in the frames so here are some pics.

Very nice... for $150 that's a very good deal... If I was looking for a frame, I'd definitely be looking that direction.

Please don't take offense on my critism of the Fetish frame, for 150 it appears a good deal. My main problem with these frames, and the frame on my 15inch, el-cheapo Norco winter beater is the alignment of the top and down tubes as they meet the headtube. On my small Rocky & Kona (16 inch, 49cm) the tubes are machined to well meet before the headtube, whereas on my Norco and the Fetish they are not. The result is the less than pretty frame and a very tall headtube for the frame size. To fix the brutally upright geometry on my Norco I had to run a high rise (15deg) stem turned upside down to get the bar apx level with the saddle.

Yeah, the high head tube bothers me too, but is it the frame? The head tube itself is the standard 5" long so isn't the thing that determines the handlebar height the fork length and not the frame geometry?

For comparison's sake the headtube is 98mm, or 4" long on my 16" Rocky Mountain.

Yeah, the 5" is long for today's bikes. A stumpjumper is about 4.3". My old Cannondale M700 had a 5" head tube but shocks were much shorter then so it didn't matter.
