    29er on a trainer??

I have a gary fischer 29er and I was wondering if I put a 700c road style tire on the back if it'd fit a cycleops wind trainer???

Yep. That is what my buddy did last year with his 29'er. Smooth 700c tire, and sweatin' to the view that NEVER seems to change.

Sure, just get one wide enough for the rim. You can get a cheap 32-35mm tire that would suffice.

Excellent. I figured that'd work but wasn't sure.

Instead, get a trainer-specific tire. Conti Hometrainer or somesuch will last you longer and won't leave little black pellets all over your house.
