Took it to Ray's today over lunch, and it's a nice ride! Waiting a few months until the weather warms up, and then would like to try it on the local trails. Never rode a SS on the dirt, only my Santa Cruz Superlight and an old Fisher Tassajara.
Nice ride! Except for the squishy front end, they don't look that different (yes, we used different components). My build was a 19" Soma frame, SunRingle' Charger wheels, Manitou Marvel Pro 100mm fork, Answer bars and stem, Hayes Stroker Trail brakes, Truvativ Stylo 1.1 crank and BB, KMC chain, Surly cog and spacer kit, Truvativ seatpost and WTB saddle and a bit of Framesaver in the frame before building.
BUMP!!! I rode at Ray's over the weekend, and was initially on my Soma Groove, but on our first day I bent my cranks.... Ended up renting a Trek Mullet the next couple days and LOVED it... How is your Analog holding up?
