2010 Trek Wahoo

I am looking to buy a 2010 Trek Wahoo. They lady who is selling the bike said that it is a mens frame, however she has been riding it for four months. I don't want to call her a liar, but I'm just not sure if this is a mens frame bike. I would feel pretty dumb if I hit the trails on a girls bike, I don't know if its possible to tell by these pictures if this bike is a men's frame. From what I found on google they make trek wahoo's for womens, anyway, maybe she just doesn't realize. If anyone can take a look at the photos and give a guess I would appreciate it.

That's the 2011 men's/unisex Wahoo. The women specific is green and black. Anyway, you realize the difference between a "men's" bike and a "women's" bike is probably a couple centimeters difference in the top tube length (or something similar to that), right? I ride a men's bike...don't think I've turned into a man yet. *checks* Nope, still a woman.

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

THe seatpost is out really really far. If you need it like that to get proper leg extension then the bike is waa-aay too small. If it were ridden like that and it is not an extra-extra-extra-long (unusually long) seatpost either the seatpost or top of the frame could be damaged.
It is a 'mens' bike.

That's actually a 2011 Wahoo, shown on the Trek archives:

https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/2011/archive/wahoo

I recently bought a 2010, it's basically all black, with a few white accents.

The 2nd poster is correct, that bike is the 'mens' model.

IIRC, when I was looking at the frame geometry, there was no difference in the frames between the mens' and women's, maybe a different WSD saddle was about it, oh and it did not come in a 21" frame, so the Amazons would have to ride a MANS' bike I guess!

What's the frame size and how tall are you? The frame size is the distance from where the crank arms are attached to the shaft through the bottom bracket, to the top of the seat tube (where the seat post clamp is). There might still be a sticker on the frame with the size on it.

I tried to get a closeout on a 2011 in December, but they were all gone except in the X-large size, then I found a lightly used 2010 for a pretty good price, so went with that.

Both years have better components on them than the 2012 Wahoos do, that's why I was looking for an older one.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of $$$ is she asking for it, anyway?
