Just happened to me today. I've been riding really hard the whole year. On Friday was playing basketball for 2 hours, then Saturday was a 50 mile trail ride. Went to hit the trails Sunday just started and felt like there was nothing left in the tank at all. Tried to continue, just couldn't continue. With this brings the end of my season, still going to ride just not as intensely as from February until December. Some pics of what the bike looks like overall at the end of this year close ups of scratches and rub marks as well(Well, as many as I could find.) First one was what it looked like at the beginning of the year.

I dont find that i get tired of riding, i do get bored occaionally, and have to have a break for a few weeks to keep the fire going... but i dont get tired of riding....

I spose all that will come though...

Naw, I don't think your riding season is over. MAybe your previous days were a little too hard on you. Try again another time your free. You just may start seriously rippin' again.

Thats why I go snowboard....plus it works different leg muscles. Still ride the trainer for 30minutes a nite though.

HEY I have blue dice on my rig too! haha great minds think alike! What rear Deraileur do you have? I like the cable setup onthat one as opposed to the defenseless design where the cable is at the bottom.

Dude, you need off days to recover... You can't go all out all the time, the human body is not designed for that kind of stress. Sure you may get away with it for a little while, but it all catches up to you. You've definately experienced that just now, Konarider

These "off days" can actually help you improve your game, cause it gives your body time to repair itself, so that the next day you get back into your game, you're even stronger. When you're going all-out all the time, your body never gets the chance to do this.

You guys probably knew this anyway

No offense meant, but how do you do 50 mile trail rides with your seat so low? That would drive me insane. Sorry, I ride XC almost exclusively and know little or nothing about the other branches of mountain biking. Gonna have to educate myself, I reckon.

Ideally one rest day every 3 hard working day is the order for the season.
