My sons birthday.

My son turned 12 on saterday. Did he ask for a big party,no.We went to the LBS and hung out for a while then we went out for a couple of hours of urban riding. That resulted in a pertty good scrape on his leg. Then we picked up some food and went to a friends house and worked on some huge dirt jumps the rest of the day. My friend is a pro so my son really looks up to him. They hit the jumps, had some fun and got dirty. Pretty cool b-day if your 12 and I didn't have to throw some cheesy birthday pary.

What does your son ride? Btw, nice thing to do. Cheesy parties don't really work out when your son is itching to ride.

You sound like a good dad. That would rock to be able to do that with my kid (when I have one)...sounds like a good time, better than some lame party.

Well, my kid's 5 and he wants the cheesy party so we're doing Chuck E Cheese's again this year.

Glad to hear that y'all had fun. Sounds like a good time.

Awww Mael, your makin' me blush It was a good time. He got to fool around on a P.3 with a fox talas, sweet ride. He tripped when my bud started busting huge air on a new hip we built. Good riders make it look so easy.

He fool around on a p.3?! Jeeebus I've not even touched something like that. I've touched the exact same year bighit mael has tho. The sweet white on my finger tips. mmmmmmm. That bighit was hella nice. But my friend (used to post here) told me not to touch it because I couldve broken it and could've gotten charged.

...I came back later and started looking and fiddling with it again.

It's cool, Chris gets his stuff for free. Specialized, fox ,maxxis and canecreek are good to him so he tries to be good to everyone. It's good for his sponsors. Most bike people are good folks.

My birthday is today but none of my parents ride so I guess I'll just go to the dirt jumps with my bud and screw around for the day.
