I will gladly move to Fruita & intern under you for free while you train me until I'm worthy of pay

Seriously though (& slightly off topic), is there any sort of official ASE type certification to get for bicycle mechanics? I know it's a pretty dang narrow field & probably not the best use of my finances given the economy, but it's something I'd definitely be interested in.

I suppose technically this falls outside the line; but really I'm viewing it as more of a peer-to-peer heads-up than a real ad, so I'm going to leave it be. Will pass this along to the two best underemployed wrenches I know too. Both seriously stellar.

^^ A 'For Sale' ad is a lot different (in my mind anyway) than a "hey, I happen to know a shop looking for a mech" shout-out. There are probably other mods and admins that feel differently may have something to say on this; whatever. I'm sort of a laissez faire black sheep.

Pablo is offering a job, we don't have a subforum for that. You're selling a bike, we do have a subforum for that. Use it.

I think there is sub forum, I Found this under Classifieds: Cycling Related Job Postings: Help Wanted,

No big deal, I can accept that different moderators would be different,

I think I may have modded your selling topic. We definitely have a rule against that, and selling on the forum is one of the perks of having a Titanium membership.

With this topic, D got here first, and he's been around and been a mod for quite a bit longer than I have. I am not going to question his judgment on this one.

Sorry for any confusion, and hope that clears things up a bit.
