with an eccentric bottom bracket!

I recently picked up a SS frameset with an eccentric bottom bracket for hella cheap. My other SSs bikes have rocker dropouts or converted with a tensioner on vertical dropouts. What should I expect with an eccentric bottom bracket? Constant adjustments? Slipping eccentric? Any set up tips?

i don't know about yours, but i had an eccentric bottom bracket once.

it was a pretty eccentric bottom bracket. it would talk about the strangest stuff, and would always wear shoes in the shower. sometimes it would make the craziest things, like electric bagpipes, and fur lined sinks, and a small snowglobe, inside was a pinata hitting a child with a bat.

a very eccentric bottom bracket indeed.

(i apologize for this, i'm drunk)

C'mon pablo, its either an apology or you're drunk? Don't be a sad drunk, that would bring me down. Snowglobe, pinata hitting a child with a bat? Are you sure alcohol was involved in this adventure?

Sorry OP, had to slap some sense into psnazzy! I hadn't heard of an eccentric, but a google search brought up Sheldon Browne's wisdom on the subject. He is legend on BF, RIP! He likes em so I would say if its a quality part it should serve you well. I would research in the Sheldon Browne section.
