recall on Specialized Enduro brand bikes

I posted here and in safety. There has been a recall on the specialized enduro bikes, model 2002. For further information: www.cpsc.gov

On the left column it will state: "Bicycle Recalls," click on this for further details.

Ciao, again, Stella. From what I can recall on this, Specialized reps starting contacting their assigned dealers regarding the "Seatstay disc brake mount" problem about two months ago and the "what to do" packets were sent out directly thereafter (I found out about the recall a couple of days before that at the tail end of a phone conversation with Specialized tech folks about another issue). If all the shops acted quickly, then, indeed, most of the affected folks and all the "in stock" bikes should have new seatstays by now.

So, how are you anyway, and do you have that new fork yet? Do stay in touch and I'll try to do better, too (Whew, what's another word for "do"?).

Ciao, Gruppo!
It is good to hear from you again! I did get the Easton Ec70 fork, it is wonderful! My rides are much smoother, it is unbelievable!
Well, I am off to work...keep in touch-
