Ss 29er gearing
Im fairly new here and am sorry if this has been asked before, I tried searching first....
What gearing are people using for Ss 29er's
I run 32-20 right now which is great for hills but sucks on flats. The new spot I have been riding is relatively flat, no major hills to speak of. Before I start experimenting what do most ride?

I run 32/21 but my trails are all up and down. If I were riding in a flat area, I'd probably try a 32/16 since 16 tooth freewheels and cogs are easy to find.

Fair amount of hills in my riding area so 32/18 on 650b and 34/20 on 26" Both seem to be a good compromise.

I run 34x17 for 52 gear inches on my 26er, and I'd probably run the same GI on a 29er, but I have hills here.
You're already running 54.6 GI, so you definitely wouldn't like the flats on my ride.

I run 32/20 on the trails so I can make all the hills, but do spin out desending and on the flats. Good time to catch your breath.
Just bought a 17t cog for gravel roads, but after riding it here where it's fairly flat am wondering if I should set up another chain and maybe a 12t or 13t.
