Strava website and Mountain Biking

I got on Strava @ the first of the year because Scott Bikes pimped it pretty big. It has been fun seeing what other people post for times and speed. It was also a huge kick in my rear to HTFU. I made some improvements in times and watts because I couldn't be behind such and so a rider in my neck of the woods, er desert.

But it does seem to be more for the Pavement Platoon. I have found very few trails listed on the segments for my part of Nevada. The good thing is that I get to be King of the Mountain for the segments I uploaded.

Anybody using Strava in the Fat Tire world? Anyone finding new trails or posting big times out there?

There is currently a strava race going on here in fruita, coming down Kessel run up at 18 road. I bet after a while people will see your times and will accept the challenge, and the race will be on.

Then you can say "oh, the huge climb race on strava? yeah, i started that.."

Just started using this a couple of weeks ago. Pretty cool stuff on the segments and making new ones linking different trails up.
