MTB semi slick tyres- 26x1.75 or 26x1.25
Currently running cheap 26x1.75 semi slick tyres with max 65psi. Would I notice the difference if I upgraded to 26x1.3@85psi or 26x1.25@100psi.
Thinking of continental sport contact 26x1.3 or specialized fatboy 26x1.25.
Looking for a bit more speed on road/footpath without spending to much $$$ as I hope to upgrade to a road bike in the next 6 months.
FYI current bike is Orbea Sherpa.

not faster you think you are going, because with 1.3 Conti Sport Contacts, my whole bike is lowered by 2cm. according to the garmin edge 800 on my bike, rocketron is 2063cm circumference, the 1.3 conti is only 1934cm.
i'm always running out of gears when i'm using mid chainring. until recently i forced myself to remember, conti = use 44T, rocketron = 32T
