enduro had it right...
i was looking for an old friend i haven't seen in forever. a couple, in fact. turns out i'm dan. i wanted to leave it open ended so it wouldn't be weird, like "Hey, if anyone knows the whereabouts of so-and-so please let me know." That way, if they don't want to be found, i don't have to play the role of weird stalker guy. and it seems like i already apologized for the enigmatic nature of my post.
