Urban Assualt SS components
Hey I'm a fixed gear rider trying to build up a SS urban assualt ride. I'm going with a Azonic Evolution 3 frame, unless you guys can recommend a better frame with horizontal dropouts. But I need to know what wheels are good because its just been too long since I rode mountain bikes. Any other cheap, durable component recommendations are great too.

The Azonic frame is a good frame. There are a ton others as well. Personally, if it's going to be an Urban Assault bike, I'd stick with Chromoly over Aluminum. If it were more of a DJer, then maybe Alum. But with Urban, the frame takes a lot more impact abuse and steel hold up better.
Wheels? Tough call. How big are you? What's your budget. I saw an advert in a mag that some company was starting to make 48 spoke Urban/DJ mountain wheels. Can't remember who. Maybe BOMBSHELL?
I'd stick with a 36 spoke, 14 straight gauge, brass nipple laced to a DH rim. Check out Atom Labs, Arrow, Sun and Mavic. Almost forgot ALEX. Heck throw in Velocity as well.

Budget is slightly up for whatever, I'm willing to spend about 200 to 250 a month on building it up. I was also planning on adding about 300 from my tax return, and wanting it done by end of march. (so about 900 or 800 USD all together) I weigh about 190.

I was never a big fan of Sun rims, but I've been riding a set of Rhyno Lites for about a year now and they've held up incredibly well. I also have a set of older Mavic D321's that are tough as nails, but significantly heavier. If you're only 190, I'd get a set of Rhyno's.
They're cheap too. You can usually find a set laced to XT hubs for about $225 to $250.

Alex DX32 or DM24 are quite nice as well. If you want to pimp it out - check out Atomlabs trailpimps - heavy as hell, but bombproof.

24 or 26 inch wheel.
Have not ridden...maybe not an AA, but nice to look @, I want one.
What specific makes a bike AA?.
I'm thinking one of these, 24 inch wheels, Maxxis Hookworms and attitude.
Maybe SS for torque.
?
