can someone Help with saag adjustment

OK as I promised; I would probably ask several questions and often. So here it is:

I have a 2001 Rock Shox Judy XC.
As I understand turning the little nobbie things on to of each boot will increase or decrease the sag (what is it? clockwise to decrease I think). Well anyway, is there suppose to be a point where the nobbie things (sorry) get tight? Because mine just keep on turning forever and ever.
I don't think this is right.

Can someone please solve this one for me.

Yes, they should get tight at some point. Go to this page and you can download owners manual and service guides. Hope this helps. And welcome to the Forums!

Clockwise increases the spring preload which will decrease sag.

Thanks Dirtie. I went to the site but I couldn't find anything that explains my problem. I think someone must be wrong because the adjuster just keeps on turning. I will probably have to get someone to look at it aand fix it.

If the preload adjuster just keeps turning in either direction it is broken. You should be able to get a replacement through any bike shop for between $8.00 and $15.00. Save yourself a few bucks and install it yourself. It is as simple as taking out the old one with a 22mm or 24mm box end wrench, then putting the new one in. Just be careful because it is made of plastic, so dont tighten it up with all your might.

Thanks guys, one more question. Is it terribly bad to ride on the fork with the preload adjusters broken, because I have been riding on it for a coulple weeks while it was like that. And I've notice that I've bottomed out a couple of times for nothing big. Have I done permanent damage already or should it be ok.

It should be OK. There's a stop inside that they hit if they bottom out to absorb some of the shock. I'd be more afraid that if the top caps are stripped that they might pop out. But if they haven't yet I guess you're alright!
