hey everyone.

A nice snowstorm just blew in and i'd like to try to make some studded tires(for some good trail usage, not commuting stuff) with some extra tires I have lying around. DO you think this tread pattern will be ok? And what studding pattern do you recommend, 2 per treadline? Oh yes, and please ignore the sausage fingers hahah.

Thanks!

On that tread, I'd suggest you stud all the knobs, at least for the front. Reason being that you want studs for cornering and for not sliding the front.

You could probably get away with just studding the outer knobs on a back tire, but you'll spin the tire on ice, which could cause problems.
