Golden, CO - Yeti Cycles announced today that it has added one of the sport' s best freeriders and pie-baker extraordinaire, Tyler "Super-T" Klassen, to its program for the next two seasons.
"We have some of the best racers in the sport, but adding a great freeride talent like Tyler will make sure our big travel bikes are designed for the rigors of big drops and other freeride specific stunts," said Chris Conroy, Yeti's president.
Since announcing its patent pending suspension technology, the 303 DH, Yeti has added a host of athletes to its roster to provide feedback on the new design. "I am stoked," Tyler said "Yeti has a great reputation and I am looking forward to riding the new 303 DH rig...it seems like a huge technology leap."
While only 23 years old, Super-T has appeared in countless videos and has won a number of contests including the 2002 Red Bull Rampage freeride event and the Race Face Freeride Challenge. Considered by many to be one of the best freeriders in the sport, Klassen will display his talent in international freeride competitions and will be seen in videos and photos throughout the world.
Tyler will ride the new Yeti 303 DH, AS-X, 4x, and DJ frames.

ABOUT YETI
Yeti Cycles was founded in 1985 with the simple premise of making the finest racing bicycles in the world. Marked by many early innovations, Yeti was thrust into national limelight in 1990 when Yeti rider Juli Furtado won the inaugural UCI World Championships. Since then, Team Yeti's roster has included some of the best riders in the sport including John Tomac, Myles Rockwell, Jimmy Deaton, Missy Giove, Kirt Vories, Marla Streb, Nathan Rennie, Tara Llanes, Paul Rowney, Trent Lowe and many others.
The addition of freeride athletes to its program has Yeti to further its suspension development to make freeride specific bikes like the AS-X. More development is expected in the future.
Yeti Cycles manufactures and assembles high-end frames and custom bikes in its factory in Golden, Colorado.

Yeah he will definately abuse it. I can't wait to ask him about it in the summer. He is one of the few honest pros. He will tell you if he likes a product or not
Funny every couple of years yeti and SC seem to trade. All the guys that road for yeti in the movie a couple of years ago are on SC now. Now superT moves over.

Who you talking about who crossed over, I can only think of Rennie crossing from Yeti to Ironhorse then SC.
I have no idea where I heard this but I reckon I heard rumours on the net that Super T was moving to Yeti about 1-2 months ago. I thunk it was on farkin.net

It was actually the flow show (not the people but the event) sponsored by yeti. I remember the sign at the event and Dan Cowans speech thanking the sponsors (the following year yeti had pulled out), and I believe everyone was riding one except superT(who had his own private sponsorship with ellsworth at the time which he later moved to SC)...
Unless they were sticking up signs and riding their bikes for ****s and giggles
He wasn't with SC very long and I know he loved the v10 wonder why he moved?

Well Yeti is planning on using the linear rail technology on the ASX, and they also are going to be selling custom rails. Maybe he was just feeling Yeti more?
