Gary Fisher Sugars any good?

My neighbor has one he wants to get rid of, don't know if it's a 2,3,4 or whatever. What it is, is my size and a hundred and fifty bucks. But if it's a total dog I'll pass.

There were some very good ones and some not as good ones. It's hard to generalize, but there's potential for $150 to be a steal for one.

A quick peek at my sig will show that I'm much more of a 70's road guy (which keeps me out of the 41, anyway) but I've been feeling the need for a FS MTB lately and this might be a good intro. Hell, the wheelset that comes with it is worth more than he's asking. I dunno. Maybe, maybe not. I got to sell some stuff off before I can reasonably justify another bike, but this might be kind of fun. I drive semi-truck over the road and I did a layover 6 miles from the Pisgah NF with only my Trek touring bike available. I really felt the lack of options on that one.

For $150 I don't see how you can go wrong. I have an 03 sugar 293(the 29er version) and can't complain. I know the rear triangle is prone to breaking but again its $150.
