What year is this Hardrock?

Any idea what year they made the Hardrock with steel frame and rigid forks? It seems cheap.

They made them all through the '90s and into 2000 like that. That particular one looks to be '90/'91/'92 or so.

It's certainly not a new bike. I wouldn't pay $120 for it.

Really? Even if it was cherry? I would think if it spent its life in the garage it would be worth that, easy.

Hardrock is pretty low end. I've sold similar level bikes in "cherry" condition for about $90 and they took 6-10 weeks to sell @ that.

according to bikepedia which only goes back to 93, the hardrocks were steel for 93,94,97, & 2000. 2003 they went alum. recently I pulled an early 90's hardrock out of a dumpster and brought it back to life. it rode fairly nice, (all steel frame/fork, altus groupo). I gave it to my buddy for the cost of tires, cables, & a chain

I've got a bad feeing that might be the dreaded 1994 hardrock. Cheep gripshifts and Tourney derailers.
