A spot very close to my house (pedal to here in about twenty minutes) has a ton of good trail. Just yesterday, some singletrack I'd not seen before trippee my radar. Sweet! This isn't it, but you get the idea.


I find tracks in this area, but have rarely seen any other riders. Local folks hiking with their dogs is about all. Bike evidence. Unused. Bonus!


This area of trail has made my home location ever sweeter. The motive to drive and ride other places is tough to gather together some days.


Pretty sure one of the dogs didn't draw this.


A maze of trail. A melange of town land, state park, state forest, and privately owned land trust. Bikes are cool in the area.


As long as we don't engage in ass-hattery that might give them reason to think otherwise. Pretty sure the hikers aren't the reason I keep blocking this sissy line off.

I'm usually solo there, but give the once-in-a-while tour. Rideit dug the place.

Like Trumbull. Yes, there are actually a couple drops with transitions in Trumbull now. Whodathunkit?


It's a big roll. I screwed up the picture. Oops. Haven't done this one yet, but it's on the list.


Not much of a tranny on this one. Not very big, but sketchy entry, sketchy out, and stupid fun. No, jeff isn't the tranny.

Been eyeing up this one for a bit. Super smooth.


Someone lose their dog in the woods?


Some dude who hooked up with my group for a run one afternoon, on the smaller of the pipe drops.


Eli on the same.


Eli on Flume.


Myself on the Porch. My goals where to just hit the Flume and Porch this season. Managed both those and the smaller pipe drop on the first day. Felt great!


Eli on Anthem. It's a nice one, but you gotta' be moving a bit more on this one. I was a bit slow, cased the shti out of m back wheel.

Oops. Not mine.


Mine. Felt a bit funky after the Anthem beat down, then had a moment of un-smootheness on BMW that was the death knell.


Back to trail bikes for a bit.


Big bike wheel is now repaired though - wasn't about to subject my much lighter trail bike wheels to lift assist abuse. Pinch rock. I've not flatted here, but do tend to find lots of tire levers near.

Millers Pond. I need to go here more. Hate the drive. Love the riding. Enough so that it's on tap for my Friday hippy ride. Sweet!


Lotsandlotsandlots of skinnies here. Super fun, and very good practice for other areas. They are all fairly low consequence - you're not high up if you come off. Part of the caveat about being able to build them there and be legit.

since my move to Indiana i'm starting to ride in new areas that remind me of areas you ride with the rock and lotsa techy stuff.

Looks like fun, though a bit beyond my skill level (or at least comfort) in some parts.

Where in IN are you?

I recently "discovered" O'Bannon Woods. It's pretty rocky in some sections. I definitely push my limits there. (which is a good thing)

i'm in the southern portion of IN and yes Obannon woods is a trail system that reminds me of Scrubs pics. I'm like 30 miles from obannon.
