those are nice.. but they are also pretty expensive, especially when my bike only cost $400+. I just want t pedal where my sneakers/shoes wont slide off

^^ I was semi-kidding. I know they're spendy; but they are IMO the best platform pedals out there.

In all honesty, I don't like any platform that uses Allen-headed set-screws for traction pins (which all three models you've mentioned have). You smash them on enough stuff and you won't get an Allen wrench to insert in the pins to back them out and replace them. So then you'll be grabbing the pins with vise grips or whatever to remove dammaged ones - - IF they haven't broken off flush with the pedal body.

Plus the Shimanos seem a bit spendy for what they are. For an economical, well-performing platform with good traction pins AND sealed bearings, I am still of the opinion that the Sun Ringlé Zuzu is hard to beat.

I have a REALLY low opinion of Wellgo. Whenever I get a Wellgo pedal on a bike I pick up, I mount them on a bike I'm selling. I've had their pedals break, their clipless not allow unclipping and generally nothing to get excited about.
So of the two options you gave, I'd go with Shimano. Come to think of it, that's what I ride.
