Cornish_Rdr_UK, really? Are you possibly confusing this with the DMR Switchback?
Anyway, I've got a Rumble and it is great fun. Been riding some shore and doing some 3-4 foot dropoffs (OK I'm only just learning and not very good) and have no issues with the bike.

Yep, not many have, but maybe 3 or 4 complaints? Also there have been some complaints of the stregth of DMR's but mine is fine, i suppose it depends how popular the frame is, the more people that would buy that frame, the more breakages there will be...
Mountain cycles reputation is pretty good though i think... Have a look around though, there are probably better frame for that typre of money...

I keep toying with the idea of buying an Azonic Steelhead. Nice geometry, cheap, steel and if I trash it, it's less than $300.00.

The Rumble geometry does make the front feel pretty tall, especially with Marzocchi's (I have 120 mm travel forks and run them with a zero rise shorty stem and no stackers).
Others in the club have: Azonic Steelhead, Santa Cruz Chameleon and Coyote Dual (Azonic DS-1 lookalike). They all fly.
Really depends on what you mean by 'aggresive.' Are you thinking freeriding/XC or shore?

Those souls are nice. Konas nice too no dealer near me. Have an
LBS with the Rumble in stock.
Use: Technical trails/Fr - light jumping.. keep the fork at 100 mm maybe.
At the wire it was the rumble and steelhead .. steel. like it but 2+ lbs heavier
and geared more towards more jumping. Bit overkill for my uses. Haven't ruled it out.
Thanks again..

What's the cost of the RUMBLE? I thought they were about $599 last I checked.

for an 04, $300.00 U.S. is the lowest I have seen (outside of Ebay). The '05 has removable drop outs and it seems the houses are sticking more to the msrp of $59s0mething..
