The Mayans are right, the world is soon to end.

TREK is catering to the go fast crash big mentality. Kinda like NASCAR, you know something juicy is gonna happen soon. Are they looking for any "SENIOR" riders to sponsor?

I'm thinking I'm just one big podium away. But it's really big. And it's way, way far away.

I will content myself with Yeti for another year, as long as they will have me. Haha, they gave up Gwinny and got me instead.

I doubt XC racing won many fans in the London Olympics.

I suspect the 4 or 5 spectators in attendance were wishing they'd gotten tickets to the badminton quarterfinals instead .

So I'm guessing that no one wants video of my planned weekend in Death Valley this upcoming weekend. Pure XC experience. DANG, story of my life, day late and a dollar short.

^^ Depends. If it includes thirst-induced delerium and circling buzzards, it could be quite entertaining.

Pro tip: Take an extra-long-life external battery pack and instructions to the recovery team on where to upload the video.

I loved it...could be cos we zero mtb on TV over here...but I quite liked watching it.

Then again...I'll watch anything on two wheels.

It was not televised in the US in any way a normal person would have seen it. It was a tiny compressed segment in the midst of a 4hr late night block.

But the real issue was that the course was meh. The techy sections were good, but there was way, way too much boring small flatland.

Deadly serious. You know how they don't actually show you the paint drying in real time on an HGTV show? Same principle applies.
