Forte' Convert Platform Pedals
Hello all,
I am actually a hybrid rider, but like so-called grip pin pedals.As such I thought this would be the place to ask: I am very interested in purchasing this Forte pedal, but it seems to be offered only by Performancebike.com, and they say "available 12/8/12." About a month ago they were saying something like "available 11/7/12."
I now wonder if they'll ever have it!
Anyone know of another place to buy these, especially in gray?
Also, any opinions on this vs. Answer Rove Freeride Pedals?

Forte' is Performance's house brand, so nobody else is going to carry them. HOWEVER, as with most Performance house-brand components, those Converts are just a 'catalog' component from a Taiwanese maker - - in this case HT. It's actually the HT MN16AT (https://www.hti-pedals.com/ht_portal/...oductCname=air). If you're set on that configuration of platform pedal, there are probably 3 or 4 others who sell that pedal under their own brand name; just have to look around.
There are a bazillion different pinned platform pedals out there, though - - so really, just shop the features/price you want to pay at any of the big MTB or BMX onlines. If you don't get dizzy from the choices.
