Hardrock Uno- Good FS bike?
After another trip to the bike shop and a new salesman he suggested i lean toward a full suspension bike due to my desire to give the bike a good beating.
First he showed me a 2001 trek feul 80 for $750. Then we looked at the hardrock uno.
After reading some reviews of the trek on mtbr, some people were talking about how their frames were cracking. This is nothing I want to deal with which is why im now leaning away from the treak and towards a specialized.
My question- Is the hardrock uno any good? Capable of some medium size drops and a good beating but at the same time a decent climber? And whats the deal with the hardrock series being a more "recreational" bike? Is that true? I ask because I dont want a newbie bike (even though im a newbie). I want something I can grow into.
