Specialized Carve Comp 29; Anyone…Anyone…Bueller…Bueller
I did some quick searches on this website and did not find much about this bike. My LBS has a brand new 2012 Specialized Carve Comp 29 in my size (23” frame) that he said he would sell for about $450 less than retail. OK, so the price is good – now what about the bike? I am 230lbs, 6’,5” and a fairly avid street rider. I’d like to ride some trials this year – nothing crazy, dirt hills and a few small jumps. I ride an older GT Outpost with zero suspension. Bike is showing its age and I’d like something with front suspension. I don’t know much about the Carve, does anyone here have any ass-time on one?
Thanks

Here was Mountain Bike Action's test from March 2012 of the Carve Pro. Take away from it what you can, knowing that the component spec is higher but theframe should be the same:

Thank you both for the information. I think that this bike would be perfect for me.
