The Aftermath

Well, after recovering from my sliced finger I felt better. The next day after my finger was better I went to school and broke my left foot big toe and now I can't bunny hop. My lbs is awesome they felt so obligated to fix my bike because of my finger and the rotor was bent that they gave me a new rotor free of charge. The new rotor is a little bent but I have to break in the brake. I am really glad that the bike is better but now but I want my toe better. Any advice for helping a broken toe? What should I do to help it recover faster?

wow, sounds like you got some bad luck lately. Get better! and yes it was very nice of your lbs to do that. I wish I could find one like that.

They can't really do anything about a broken toe except tie it to a neighboring toe. You probably won't be able to bike on anything except a paved road for a while. I broke a toe a while ago, didin't really do anything about it and it now I can't bend it. It's probably because it broke at a joint, but who cares, its just a useless toe.

I took my LBS owner to the skatepark and he wound up breaking his toe. I think it's a conspiracy.

I broke a toe once, all I did was tie it to the next toe and just acted normal. I even played soccer with it broken, sure it hurt but whats the point of life if you don't feel a little pain.

i once broke my middle finger(what do you actually call it?) on my foot. I didn't even realize it was broken until a few weeks ago, I was looking at it...and it was crooked.

Make sure it heals straight!
