Ah, it's just reminds the nice guys to behave themselves . Besides, you have a Nomad - - you're not so pure yourself .

Otherwise, this discussion is lame. You're all lame. And where's junkyard?

Thanks for asking. As far as my bones, I'm 100% healed. I don't feel like I'm back 100% in my upper body strength yet - - the shoulder reminds me a little when I've worked it hard. But it gets its first test tonight on the downhill bike (don't think I'll boost all the big doubles yet, tho').

I've been on a few of our bike shop's Wed. night trail rides and it's felt real good to get out. First race back will be 27th & 28th at Mt. Hood, OR; and I'm registered for Crankworx, so I've gotta get working on getting back into the flow.

My bike hasn't touched dirt in 4... almost 5 months....

I havn't had time to go to the trails..

in fact..

I don't even know where there are..

some of the trails are hiker or horse only... or private land..

^^ It was a nickname I acquired before I knew MT was a band (joke was on me ). But they ARE (were?) cool. Black sheep struck me as particularly appropriate for me.

^^ . . . and felt compelled to clutter the thread with a pic no less. Wow.

I think if mountain bikes had stayed like that and not progressed, I'd have stayed with dirt bikes .

I am trying to become a grouch with my MTB. I dont need my barely functional RST gila POS, nor many of my gear combos, nor disc brakes. If it was just that I dont need it I would just stay modern, but it also adds a good 7-10 lbs

I don't typically read threads with such long titles.
