Did my LBS mess up their prices??!!
I was looking at my LBS's online site and noticed this bike: The '13 Specialized Status II for just 299.99$. Is this a mistake? The same bike from the Specialized site is 3300$. If this isn't a mistake, I'm leaving right now to go to my LBS!!!!

I'm going to Central Phoenix tomorrow to get my hairs cut, will stop in their shop since they're open 11-4.

Call them and ask them to put one aside for you at $300, or to take a credit card payment over the phone, and you'll find out for sure. If it's a come-on or gimmick they're not going to lie about it over the phone, and you aren't going to force them to honor the online price in person if it's a mistake.

...Is this for real? It's obviously not a marketing trick, but a typo that's supposed to say $2999.99. If you *actually* ask them about it you're going to get the same eyeroll that the people who joke if something is free when it doesn't scan properly. If someone did accidentally sell you that bike for that price, that same someone would be losing their job as soon as the manager found out.

Yeah, I don't plan on getting the bike for $300. I do have a couple of things I need to pick up at a bike shop though, so I might as well poke my head in...and mention the fact that the price on their website is dramatically wrong.
I just dropped 2 g's on a roadie, no way I could bring home another bike without being kicked out of the house. Granted, I'm sure a $3k bike for $300 would be understandable.

I went there and didn't see one specialized bike in the store...there were also only two people working and about 15 people in the store. I didn't even want to bug them about it.
