I am getting a new MTB and I will have around 1000$ give or take a hunred. Any suggestions?

There are lots of good bikes in this price range. Too many to name without the info that KonaRider24 listed.

I'd say no Haro and get a hardtail, a $1000 fs bike isn't worth it in my opinion.
