Is this a good craigslist deal?

I just bought this today and now I can’t tell if it’s a good deal or a sketchy rip-off. After I bought it, I went home and looked up the specs to be sure of what I had. Help!

Specs

Part Description

Frame: Aluminum
Fork: Springy
Crankset: two-armed (L and R) with sprockets
Bottom bracket: new-looking, complete with bearings
Shifters: Clicky
Front derailleur: Shifty
Rear derailleur: Spring-loaded with two wheels all metal-and-composite construction
Rear cogs: Multi-speed cassette-type
Brakes: Disc
Brake levers: Pull-type
Rims: Aluminum with spoke and valve stem holes
Front hub: Disc-compatible with spoke holes and bearings
Rear hub: Disc-compatible with spoke holes and bearings
Tires: Rubber
Handlebar: Two-ended with bends for comfort and control
Stem: Clampy with multi-bolt, grippy/clampy features
Seat post: aluminum with integrated seat rail clamp and angle adjustment
Saddle: Padded MTB with built-in posterior ergonomics
Pedals: Matched pair - flat-ish with grippiness but no clippiness
Headset: Expressly sized for fork and frame; with bearings
Chain: Linky, steel roller

Seller was asking less than a lot of bikes I see on CL but a bit more than I was hoping to pay. Paid less than he was asking but a bit more than I wanted to. Was it a good deal? Should I keep it, try to get my money back or flip it?

I would get out from under that in a heart-beat. Get yourself a "Yeti" sticker kit, and plaster that bike. Make your asking price double what you paid for it, and some sucker is sure to buy it.

If you paid more than $10K for it, you got ripped off.

Pedals sound girlie to me! But if it fits-you must rip!

Nice description though, I like the technical attention to detail! Is there more than 1?

Probably not, since it's aluminum. Steel is real, yo. But at least as it's not carbon, as that's known to explode into a million pieces upon hitting anything, and one of those carbon shards might pierce your heart or something.

I'm really concerned about this purchase. You said it has rims and hubs with spoke holes, but you didn't list spokes on the list of equipment. That might be a problem. Depends on whether or not you plan to ride it.

You will prolly grow out of that springy fork soon. Should have kept looking until you found a springy race or comp

Oops sry.

Spokes: Round-style, with j-bends and brass nipples (tee-hee) - one for each hole.

I don't know, you're getting ripped off, no grips.
