Ok guys,

So I am stationed in Italy, I have been wanting a mountain bike for awhile now, because there are some really good places to ride around here. A friend of my wife is moving back to the states and gave us this bike, it is a Gary Fisher Marlin, has been in storage for about 3 years, flat tires, but otherwise in good shape. but thats all I know. Any idea of the age? is it a decent rider? I was about to buy a Trek 3500 at the PX on post, but this bike may fit my needs. Any info regarding the bike would be great! Thank in advance

There's a bikeopedia link and it didn't seem that bad. I suppose the way you set the bars, saddle height will make a difference. If you can't get it to fit you correctly, then I'd see that as an issue.
