Azonic DS1
Hiya folks,
Got a question for ya. I've got an opportunity to buy an older Azonic DS-1 frame complete with Deore crankset, derailleurs and shifters for $60. I don't really need it, and was originally interested in the drivetrain components to upgrade my frankenbike which currently sports Acera parts. However, I've read some good things about these frames. Curious whether or not you think it's worth it, and what you think of the frame if you've got experience with it.
Thanks!

One of the most versatile burly hardtails that ever were. I'd snap one up in an instant given the chance. Oh, but look it over closely for cracks - - people tended to flog them mercilessly .

Awesome, glad to hear it, will be taking a look tomorrow! On the topic of cracks, is there a way to tell whether the frame is pre or post 2003 by visual inspection? As I understand, the pre-2003 models were more prone to cracking. Thanks!
