old grips slipping

hello guys, i have specialized grips for maybe year and a half and they were very good... they started to slip and i tryed to clean them with water dry and put on, with putting hairspray on the grips and the bars, wd40 .. after a night they were still slipping all the time.they especially irritate me when i do big bunny hop manuals .... so is there any other solution or i just need to buy new grips

the ones on my GT started to do this after a few months. I tried a few things, but ended up getting some ODI clamp on grips.

Agree with ODI. If you have small hands, go Ruffian or Yeti. I can't tell you anything about grips for large hands from experience, but people seem to like the Rogue.

Check out ESI's silicone slip ons--they never move and are super light. Racers Edge is the smallest dia., next is Chunky and then Extra Chunky. I would say that Chunky is the dia. of a typical grip.

Never had a problem, using good motorcycle grip glue(Renthal, Protaper, etc.). Works well enough that I have to cut my grips off, when wanting to replace. Biggest issue is properly degreasing & cleaning bars, then applying the grip glue and letting it set for at least 24hrs...
With all the stuff you've used on your old grips tho', probably do need to replace them.
