Trunk rack opinions
I bought this used Thule 910 bike rack for a great price. It's easy to install, use etc, but the Thule fit guide says it is not recommended for my little Toyota echo because "carrier is not recommended because vehicle is unable to support carrier weight"
Really? What in the world does that mean? The carrier weighs 8 or 10 lbs, the bike weighs 29, so I guess I'm not seeing the problem.
I know it's just a guide, but has anyone else run into this? It seems very secure to me.
Thanks for any insight.

Often they are thinking the plastic bumper is not as good as old fashioned Steel ones.
It's just a guess ... to know what They mean, ask Them.
