Recommend me some new tires

I like to get some good recommends of a good mtb tire to get. Thats good for XC racing and some mud. I know no tire is great for all conditions.

Right now I use Maxxis Ikon on my Rocky Mt. Element.

Anything else you all can recommend

Last XC race combo I used was Maxxis Ignitor front/Larsen TT rear and really liked it. But the Larsen would not cut it for mud for you. I've been pleasantly surprised by the Ardents that came on my new bike; and they hold their own in occasional mud. Will probably change them out for High Roller IIs this season though.
