You're thinking about wheel size. Non-department store bikes are actually measured by their seat tube size (a bike with a 24" seat tube would only be suited for the very tall, and a bike with a 29" seat tube would likely be too big for Shawn Bradley). The best thing to do is buy from a local shop, where you can try on various bikes to see what fits and feels best. Even two bikes with the same seat tube size will have different geometry (the reach and stack will be different), so they will ride differently, and one will likely feel better than the others.

Ok thanks for that, i do have a few bike stores which are not too far away And i might be able to get in too one of them and have a look. Also about my size, i am a pretty normal sized 14 year old. And i am about 175 cm tall.

This is the bike i have: http://www.malvernstar.com.au/range/bike-3172.aspx
