About last week. I knew Derek wouldn't win. too much skill to be in this comp anyways. I wonder why I keep voting, its obvious the huckers/jumpers will win every week.
Brooks - good skills not a pure hucker, some small trail section but mostly going HUGE.
James - little hucking, street and some north shore (to a small degree) even the token beer drinking
Ryan - brother of bearclaw. Jumping and hucking with a little more flow.
Darrell - wow...a jumper. He claims to race dh, why not film some. It can be done.
Oh well I am not voting. These guys are all 'ok'. Nothing remotely inspired me. I may rethink my position and vote brooks...but right now nothing.

Every time I see this on here I think "Ultimate Fighting Championship." I recently got hooked on the events again after not watching it since its inception about 10 years ago. Pretty insane...just like freeriding! LOL

Yeah I like the 'ufc' as well. I watch both. UFC sometimes gets old with all the guys who grapple. Personally I am always a fan of fighters like Tank Abbott...beat you to a pulp and walk away. Not the hold...hold....hold...rolling/hold...hold...hold.... fight over you made a mistake with your left thumb and it stuck up long enough for me to make you scream like a girl.

Still kicking.
I think the UFC has lost all credibility.
I think the judges should be the other pro riders and not the general public.

Yeah i do actually, there's a group of them called the 'environmental vandals' and they all ride with Grant Allen. Here's a vid one of them put together: https://www.snowpics.net/media/EV.mov
I reckon Alan or Chris should enter the UFC next year.

IMO the competition has gone dh. The riders this year in general (of the 12 only 1 impressed me) are really weak. I would love to see some world wide blood.

Yeah, i think it needs to be publicised a bit more. You only ever hear of it when the riders are already chosen.

That would help. I think offering one round up too. I now they do this to end right at sea otter but it would still be fun to be able to help pre choose.

i think the people who win are people that have big bike careers ahead of them. i mean look at the previous winners super t, matt hunter, and wayne goss, all these guys have had great years since they won, and even the guys that dont win like carlon dunne have parts in such movies as nwd 5. The contest is a way for unknown riders to get nodiced, not for big name riders to kill it.
