storing & housing your bike ?

i was wondering
do you just keep your bike in the garage do you take it in your house do you hang it from the wall or ceiling hooks or stand ?

i have a 2 car garage and its preatty darn packed from floor to ceiling and not really much room to keep the bike
so im wondering is it safe to use ceiling hooks if anchored in the proper areas for support ?
do i want to hang the bike by the wheels upside down or do i want to hand it from the top bracket bar like on a Mens bike ?
how would i properly hang if i choose to go that rout ?

Hanging from the wheels wont harm the wheels or the frame, but if you have a fork with oil, some may leak past the seals.

I hang mine in the garage on the wall from their wheels, and one hangs upside down from the ceiling. I have heard that this doesn't harm them at all. I read a number if years ago in mountain bike action I think that hanging them is actually good for the seals in shocks if they are oil shocks. The oil helps keep the seals lubed and prevents them from drying out. I am not sure if thst is true or not. Just what I read several years ago.

There you go, from Seals & Foam Rings - "Storing the bicycle upside down and inverting the fork allows oil to run down to the foam rings and keeps them lubricated and ready for your next ride."

I guess good forks don't leak
