Best Mountain Biking Pants for Warm Weather, Cold Weather?
My wife and I have fantastic lightweight stretch mountain biking shorts with light integrated cushion/chamois. They have useful pockets and look like regular shorts when off the bike. Are there any good lightweight and light-colored stretch mountain biking pants out there for warm weather?
We wear lightweight and light colored stretch nylon hiking pants in warmer weather for sun, brush and bug/tick protection, and it would be great if there was something like this for mountain biking. I've seen a few pairs of light-colored mountain biking knickers, but not a light-colored full length pant. Would stretch hiking pants with ankle straps work best?
Also appreciate any good colder weather mountain biking pants. Right now we wear Craft Storm Tights often used in cross country skiing (sized not tight but with some give) in colder weather. They work just fine.

Check out a site called "The Clymb." They have great deals on stuff. I've bought a few pairs of Pearl Izumi MTBing pants from them and they've been decent.

The Pearl Izumi MTB shorts with a removable liner I got are pretty lightweight and comfortable. I also have a pair of Zoic shorts with a removable liner, which are decent.
My advice is to just go to a shop and try some on and see what you like. Clothing fits everyone different. Just don't skimp on the price, because you really do get what you pay for.
Have you looked at Endura's stuff. They do a full length version of their Hummvee shorts and 3/4s. they are Scots so don't say knickers to Endura it has totally different meaning to them . Zoic also does a convertible version of their black market shorts but I found them too tight around the knees.
Never heard of'em! I'll be sure to check'em out!
