New to forum , not new to MTB

I was wondering if anyone has any info on a bike that i acquired after buying my house.it was left in the garage . it is a ProCorex TCX27 . Shimano Deore group , cane creek ahead set . what appears to be Hayes Hydro disc. and a few other not so bad items. Is this bike worth letting my Fiance ride it as a beginner ?.. again i have never heard of the company , but it appears to be in great shape , a bit heavy , but she wont care. any info on this bike would be great ! Thanks in advanced

I believe it might be around 2002 or 2003 , but not certain

I've never heard of that brand, but the pics available from google look like a decent bike. The components you listed are all respectable You can date the bike from the derailers. On the back of each derailer there should be a two letter code. Write down the code, then go to VintageTrek.com Go to the components section and click on Shimano to find the year and month the components were manufactured. Remember that components manufactured in July of 2002 probably were used on a 2003 model. Good Luck.

OK , took the bike out couple times , and it is pretty sweet , rode pretty hard on it , as hard as you can with the Florida terrain. I must say , im pretty impressed , for a bike i have never heard of , glad i kept it and decided to give it a chance. If anyone still has any info on the frame , please post it up . Thanks
