My butt hurts...new seat?
Hey, y-day I was riding my bike for about 5 hours none stop. And my ass hurts a LOT.
Is there any good seat out there in the price of 50$ that wont make my ass hurt?
Or any other seath over 50$. Im sopose to go ride my bike tomorrow again but may not make it becuase my ass hurts to much. Thanks for any help

No, I had a little backpack with a video camera and I had lots of water before I left the house.
Yeah, Im hardcore on trails and me and my friend just found few jumps on the way and stuff.
From the replay so far I guess there is no seat that can stop or reduce the pain.
And about the seat I cant tell you. But the bike is old so I guess the seat should be to. I really have no idea what the seat has in its history since I have it from second heand but it was in the garage for a very long time.

It's possible the seat has formed itself to the prior owners booty and that could be causing your problems. Just a thought....

bontrager select came stock on mine, it's alright. I am using an old Selle Italia SLR now though, surprisingly comfortable for a this sheet of plastic, I mean carbon fiber...

I love my Selle Italia Ti Flite. It's great if you ride quite a bit, but if you're off the bike for a while(month or so for me) your ass has to get used to it again. Of course, I've heard really good things about Brooks saddles, but I've never had one.

i like my SDG bel-air saddle, they are available in a few configurations, and i think price point has them with cro-mo or ti rails for 39/49 dollars respectivly. i paid 12 for mine a few years back, wish i had gotten more now...

I upgraded from a Sella Italia Xo to a Sella Italia SLK. Lost 50 grams in the process, and the new saddle is much more comfortable, and much more ergnomically designed (split in the middle for the boys 
).
I'd look into Sella Italia line up, but again, saddles are different for everyone, you really should try some out before buying...

Brooks. BTW, many people sit on a bike saddle for way more than 5 hours per day with no pain.

I run a SDG..I'm now on my second one after killing my first one in a wreck...I'm quite happy with my saddle though I may at some point try something different.

I've always had good luck with Sella stuff. One of these days I'll try out the Brooks.
