    2015 Giant Talon 27.5 Comparison

I'm deciding between the 2015 Giant Talon 3 and 4 and was wondering if the 90CAD difference is worth the upgrade?

Upgrades are for fork, R/D and cassette.

    Thanks!

I'd spring for the more expensive one. Both of them have low-end, entry-level forks (as do all bikes in that price range), but I'm pretty sure the 3 has a fork with 30mm stanchions (which will be stiffer/less noodle-y than the 28mm stanchions on the 2). Additionally, the 3 has a 9-speed drivetrain versus the 8-speed on the 2.

Thanks. I was leaning towards the 3, but then started to wonder if it was worth the price difference. I guess I'll stick to my initial decision.
