A2Z disc brake mount?
A2Z disc brake mount for frames without rear brake tabs? Anyone use or see one. Whats the good, the bad and the ugly of this adapter?

The AD-PMR adapter would not work on my frame - I've got a 2001ish Trek 8000. A2Z would have taken it back had I not barely trimmed on it w/ a grinder. I ended up going w/ the universal mount (DM-UNI) and it works great. I still have the AD-PMR it if you want to try it. Try it, send me some bucks if it works. If not, send it back and I can throw it on ebay - they're sell for around $20. Thanks.

Follow cobba's link. Again, the red one did not work for me while the UNI worked like a charm.

A2Z DM-UNI, it might be a bit of a problem to attach if the drop outs aren't flat.
The A2Z AD-PMR would work fine if the 22mm attachment point was on the seat stay instead of the chain stay.
Another 22mm mount, I don't know well it'd work & whether there wold be any flex with it:

AD-PMR on a 90s Trek ZX 7000 21" with Shimano BR 455 hydraulic brake
I encountered the same problem with these adapters, the seatstay was in the way and this is on a large frame bike, I'd read this was more of a problem on small frames. I had to grind down the rear outer edge of both the 51mm standard mount and also some metal on the brake unit itself. I also had to file the rotor mounts so the rotor sat a little further into the wheel. This was fiddly but by no means difficult. I haven't weakened the parts but they haven't much resale value, but these are unwanted parts.
