Trek Bruiser 1 - Your Thoughts?

i just got back from my lbs, and they had a trek bruiser 1 in stock for $369 (msrp $409.99). What is your opinion of this bike? Is it worth it? (Im a beginner doing trails, jumping, and some freeriding). the guy said it was good for that type of riding because it is a tough bike. Thanks.

my thoughts are to do what i did. get a specialized hardrock instead.

The hardrock is a good bike, but if your going to be abusing it (and it sounds like you are) the Trek will take more.

i went to another lbs and the guy said that the hardrock sport was better, so thats what i ended up getting. its an 06 and very sweet.
