www.mtbreview.com has some reviews on them.
IMO overall, a great starter bike. Can be upgraded to suit skill level. Good sturdy frame, good component spec.

On my Hardrock Pro Disc, the brakes werent very good, and the fork was a piece. It was definately better than other low end bikes. It is a great deal for the money, but I found myself upgrading alot. The Deore shifters are fine. When properly tuned, they shift really well. The cranks were a bit flexy and I was going to buy Holzfeller cranks from someone, and a chainguide, but it was stolen so I didnt do it.

sure, it's a good beginners bike.
Good frame, and the components are about as good as you are going to get for the money(unless you go used).
